These people watched as their coworkers left legacies! Some sneakily changed passwords or locked out their coworkers, just to prove how important their positions were.
Others had a sillier final message, like one worker who spent her final few days gluing googly eyes on various workplace paintings.
These folks shared their stories to r/AskReddit, answering the question: “What is the most chaotic thing a coworker has ever done on their last day before quitting?” Here are a selection of the funniest, most interesting tales that they volunteered.
You can be the judge: which proud quitter do you think got the best last laugh?

Payback was different back in the day! The modern equivalent to this would be like, deleting a company's Google Drive or something. I must've taken the workers an hour or 2 collectively to pick up all the cards… but who knows how long it would've taken them to re-sort out which client belonged to which person! And this person could've taken it a step further by hiding some of the cards… This is truly quitting with flair, but it's also burning every single bridge at the company. But good for them for deciding not to take that treatment any more (because really, who does that??) and to let their coworkers and bosses know exactly how strongly they felt about them.

No one quits like an IT worker!
via potatodrinkerIT workers have jobs that normies just don't understand, and therefore, they can create chaos that's particularly difficult to solve.
